It all started in autocross, where Marcel Ottink was active in the “tourwagen” class. In this class, parts were limited and original components could not withstand the required power or the harsh terrain. The fact that Marcel’s car did not suffer component failures led to one request after another. As a result, O.T.S. was officially founded in 2007.
After autocross, Marcel made the switch to rallycross. He competed both nationally and internationally with the Škoda Fabia S2000 Supercar, a car developed and built in-house by O.T.S. itself.
In 2016, Nathan followed in the footsteps of his father Marcel, and not without success. He first claimed titles in karting, after which he made the step to autocross and rallycross. Nathan has, among other achievements, won gold at the FIA Games, become Autocross Masters “toerwagens” champion, European Autocross Champion in the Junior Buggy class, and claimed the RallyX South Supercars championship.
In autocross and rallycross, we are active in everything from small components such as kingpins to complete cars. The variety of vehicles is also broad, ranging from four-wheel-drive Supercars to front-wheel-drive and rear-wheel-drive Supernationals, all getting nationally or internationally success.
In addition to autocross and rallycross, O.T.S. products are also active in the Dakar and Rally-Raid. Components have been designed and produced for many past vehicles, as well as for current ones. Examples include the McRae Enduro, the Red-Lined Nissan, the Arcane T3, and the current Dakar winning Taurus T3.
In addition to the automotive and motorsport markets, O.T.S. is also active in the defense sector. Years of experience and expertise in materials and motorsport are applied to defense equipment as well. For example, O.T.S. is a development partner in the Ermine-project, a multi-purpose platform.
EV conversions, autonomous vehicles, and other innovative projects also take place at O.T.S. At the other end of the spectrum is mobile heritage — for classic cars where replacement parts are no longer available. At the request of our customers, we develop these parts, from transmission housings to door handles.
